Paula & Reed : Engagement

Just as Sara Bareilles comes on my Pandora as I begin to write this post, some things are just perfect together. Ok. Sara makes me all sappy. I’ll admit it.

This couple though – there is no doubt that they don’t need a love song to inspire the looks and moments I captured in this session.

Shot in Tupelo in their beautiful backyard. Can you believe they pulled all of these props and styling together themselves? Loved it. More details to come soon!

And if the engagement session is this fabulous – can you even imagine how gorgeous the wedding will be?

Bethany & Stanley : Engagement

Weaving in and out of powerful statues surrounded by lush greenery and flower gardens, I found inspiration in so much more than the scenery. Bethany and Stanley are easy together. They seem comfortable yet completely engrossed in each other. Their practiced embraces left me only to record what was already in front of me. My very favorite kind of session!

Having met and spent their first few years together in New Orleans, it seemed like the perfect place for Bethany and Stanley’s engagement session. We had a blast roaming the sculpture garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art, which is also a spectacular wedding venue.

This wedding will be a lovely one!

Stanley, I love how you love her.

Bailey & Jeffrey : Engagement

When we started exploring the location for this session my first thoughts were “This place is amazing! I wish I could shoot here every day!”. As the session began, my mind turned from the scenery to the gorgeous couple I was seeing through my lens.

My thoughts became filled with thankfulness for the lovely couple in front of me as well as all of the amazing couples I have had the pleasure of getting to know this year and all of the ones I have yet to meet. Each couple is unique and has a special connection all their own, yet each is oddly similar in that they are so incredibly perfect for each other and for me as an artist.

To Bailey and Jeffrey and all of my other wonderful couples this year – know that I am forever thankful that you have let me into your world and the uniqueness that is your relationship and that you have trusted me with one of the most sacred and meaningful events of your lives. I am honored and humbled to experience this time with you.

If you are getting married this year or next, I’d love to talk with you about your wedding. Just click the “Book Your Wedding” link below! Amazing, perfect-for-each-other couples like Bailey and Jeffrey only please. ; )
