When we started exploring the location for this session my first thoughts were “This place is amazing! I wish I could shoot here every day!”. As the session began, my mind turned from the scenery to the gorgeous couple I was seeing through my lens.
My thoughts became filled with thankfulness for the lovely couple in front of me as well as all of the amazing couples I have had the pleasure of getting to know this year and all of the ones I have yet to meet. Each couple is unique and has a special connection all their own, yet each is oddly similar in that they are so incredibly perfect for each other and for me as an artist.
To Bailey and Jeffrey and all of my other wonderful couples this year – know that I am forever thankful that you have let me into your world and the uniqueness that is your relationship and that you have trusted me with one of the most sacred and meaningful events of your lives. I am honored and humbled to experience this time with you.
If you are getting married this year or next, I’d love to talk with you about your wedding. Just click the “Book Your Wedding” link below! Amazing, perfect-for-each-other couples like Bailey and Jeffrey only please. ; )
I love fun couples. My clients know that I tend to be a little ridiculous during photo shoots. Sometimes it’s to get good interaction and expressions, but most of the time its because I’m a major dork. Luckily Sarah and Evan weren’t scared away by my ever-growing desire to be a stand up comedian. (Just Kidding… or am I?)
Aside from a good appreciation for mediocre jokes, Sarah and Evan are such a sweet couple. I am so glad we were finally able to do an engagement session for these two. (Evan works with the Alabama football program which creates some scheduling difficulties) We had a great time riding the Dentzel Carousel and roaming around downtown Meridian.
