Amy & Colten | Wedding on the MississippiWedding

Amy & Colten were married November 14, 2009 at the Rosalie Mansion in Natchez overlooking the Mississippi River. Recipe for awesomeness? I think so. Gorgeous bride? Bonus! The girls got ready at the Grand Natchez Hotel, which is about 1/2 mile from the Rosalie House. Amy and her father rode a carriage to the ceremony and I had the pleasure of running alongside it shooting the entire way. Note to photographers: Don’t try to run alongside a horse – they will work hard to outrun you – and they WILL succeed. Luckily the wall surrounding the house blocked most of the guests from being able to view my ridiculous horse-outrunning attempts.

The reception was on the Rosalie grounds on a cliff overlooking the Mississippi. This made for some serious cold winds, but the guests didn’t seem to notice. They danced to the amazing band (name and link to follow) all night and completely rocked it out. Congratulations Amy & Colten!
